As a Financial Operations Specialist at Aquablu, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including invoice preparation, sales order matching, and debtor management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by executing various accounting and administrative tasks. You will work directly with our Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Preparation and Processing: Prepare, generate, and distribute invoices for sales or services rendered. Ensure the accuracy of all billing data.

• Sales Order Matching: Match sales orders with purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure that all transactions are accounted for.
• Debtor Management: Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts; plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments.
• Record Keeping: Accurate recording of financial transactions in line with company policy and accepted accounting principles.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and process daily expenses and help to prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Software Expertise: Utilize financial software to create spreadsheets and reports. Experience with Exact software is highly desirable.
• Bank reconciliations: Matching bank transactions
• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other financial and administrative tasks as required, such as data entry, filing, and organizing financial documents.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial administration, preferably using Exact Online .

• Proficient in financial software and tools, including Exact Online.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• You're the one who never misses a beat, with a sharp focus on precision in financial record-keeping and reporting
• You can juggle multiple tasks at the same time (in an organized way) and you love doing it.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written (Dutch is a plus).
• Based in the Netherlands (we cannot offer visa sponsorship).

• previous experience working in a startup environment or a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
• Familiarity with Dutch tax regulations and international tax principles.
